			Dynamic control of the force-feedback characteristics significantly enhances the aircraft-pilot interface, opening up a wide range of potential advantages.  The flight control computer can alert the pilot to flight envelope restrictions, weather conditions, or indicate the severity of a particular manoeuvre.  Since the controller can also be 'backdriven', it is readily configured for coupled, twin-cockpit operation.
