DiPaRT 2011 Presentations:
On December 8th 2011 we held the second of our DiPaRT Loads and Aeroelastics workshops, co-organized and co-chaired by Stirling Dynamics and Airbus. As with the previous year, we had a great turnout from industry and academia with some excellent presentations (click here for a full list of attendees). This was another very successful event with positive feedback from those who attended. The Loads and Aeroelastics session kicked off with an introduction by Simon Hancock reviewing the activities and achievements of the L&A hub over the last 12 months. The highlights included the setting up of a DiPaRT website and newsletter and support to a number of academic projects. Rene Meissner of Airbus Hamburg then gave a keynote talk on the current state of the art on loads monitoring within Airbus.
