FIA Connect 2020

21 June 2017

This week, Stirling’s Business Development Director, Andrew Pfeil, and Aerospace Technical Services (ATS) Business Manager, Bandula Pathinayake, are visiting the Paris Airshow. Held biannually, the Paris Airshow is taking place at the Le Bourget Parc des Expositions between 19 to 25 June 2017.

The Stirling team will be networking with show attendees and meeting with existing international customers. Commenting on Stirling’s attendance at the Show, Bandula said: “It is vital for Stirling to attend the Paris Airshow as it gives us a great window of opportunity to sustain and grow our relationships within the global aerospace industry. Many of our customers are international – ranging from North America, Japan, South Korea and India – and the Paris Airshow brings them together in one accessible location. We also want to keep on top of the newest innovations in the engineering sector so that we are better equipped for the future”.

Whilst at the show it was confirmed that Stirling had been awarded a significant development project for one of its customers in Asia.  This news is the concluding process of what has been a lengthy bidding process and embraces the strategic relationship with this particular customer.
