We offer a range of health and wellbeing benefits including a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme helpline for employees and their immediate family members, discounts on gyms, fitness trackers and running trainers. a free annual eye test, free fruit in the office and training and awareness campaigns on mental health and wellbeing.
Our core hours of attendance are 10 am - 3.00 pm Monday - Thursday and 10 am - 12.30 pm on Fridays, allowing for flexibility in the working day.
Also, our flex-working policy also allows employees to work from home up to 4 days per week depending on their preferences.
We operate a competitive company contribution pension scheme for all employees which allows contributions to be made on a salary sacrifice basis. We also pay for the services of a third-party pensions advisor who gives quarterly presentations and is available for individual meetings throughout the year.
All employees have the opportunity to nominate their colleagues every quarter for an Employee Recognition Award, and to recognise and say thank you for long service, we offer Long Service Awards for every 5 years’ service.
Additionally, we encourage recommendations from existing employees for any employee roles that we are recruiting. If successful, the referrer will receive a bonus upon completion of the probationary period.
We offer a competitive salary and an annual bonus scheme. The bonus is linked to company performance and recognises employees’ individual efforts.
Employees can receive up to 6 months’ salary as sick pay in a rolling 12-month period. All employees also benefit from Permanent Health Insurance, providing long term sickness cover for up to 5 years.

If you are interested in being a part of our team
Whether you are interested in a work placement or a specific live role, here are our most asked recruitment questions
All applicants will have received an automatic email confirming receipt of their application. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are only able to respond with further progress updates to successful applications. If you didn’t receive an automatic email confirmation when you applied and you are not sure if your application was submitted, please feel free to email recruitment@stirling-dynamics.com confirming your name, the role you have applied for and the date of your application, and someone will get back to you to confirm.
Yes, we run a 2-year graduate training programme which includes 4 x 6-month rotations across different areas of the business. We also occasionally recruit for graduate roles within certain engineering capabilities so please keep an eye on our vacancies page.
Unfortunately, we do not offer work experience. We will occasionally consider internships, but this is on an ad hoc basis and dependent on business needs.
All applicants will need to submit their CV through the online application form for the vacancy that interests you. If successful, one of our recruiters will contact you to schedule an interview. Depending on the role you have applied to, you will have 1 or 2 interviews covering a combination of technical and competency-based questions.
The standard full-time hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Our core working hours are 10 am – 3 pm Monday-Thursday, and 10 am – 12.30 pm on Fridays, providing employees with the flexibility they need to balance their working life around their personal life.
We recognise that the increased flexibility associated with homeworking helps some employees to achieve a better work-life balance and reduces their environmental impact through reduced commuting hours. We have therefore introduced a new flex-working policy which will allow employees to continue working from home in the future. For candidates that are not within a commutable distance of the Bristol office, we will also consider 100% remote working.
We can sponsor visas. If you do not have the right to work in the UK, please still apply for any roles that you may be interested in.
