Training support
Employees are encouraged to continually learn and develop their skills. There is a huge range of e-learning courses that employees can sign up to free, but employees can also submit training request forms for any paid for external training and we aim to support this wherever we can.
Culture of knowledge sharing
We recognise that not all learning needs to be conducted through formal learning programmes, but rather creating an environment which promotes active and continual learning allows for many more opportunities for our employees, sometimes sparking an interest in something an employee may have not considered before. One of the ways we are able to encourage this culture at Stirling is through lunch and learns. Lunch and learns can be on any topic, and doesn’t even need to be work related. It’s a great way for our employees to share their knowledge with each other in a relaxed and inclusive environment.
Objectives to support your progression
Employees encouraged to review throughout the year and to set objectives that support their own progression
Transfer your skills
Allow employees to move around when needed
Chartership support
we want to support our employees’ progression and this includes supporting our engineers to become Chartered, should they wish to do so
