Reflecting on the First 100 Days: Chris Bridge at Stirling Dynamics

There's something symbolic about the first 100 days in a new role. It's a milestone that offers just enough time to move beyond first impressions, start building relationships, and begin shaping your contribution. The early months are about listening, learning, and laying the groundwork for long-term impact.

Chris Bridge, our new Technical Manager for Simulation and Control, recently passed that 100-day mark at Stirling Dynamics. It felt like the right moment to pause and reflect, not just on what’s been achieved, but on what is ahead.

Chris joined us with a strong background in subsea engineering a career that’s spanned over 25 years, with deep experience in multi-discipline analysis, systems and metrology. His technical leadership has always been grounded in a systems-thinking approach, and he brings a calm, methodical mindset to solving complex engineering challenges. That’s exactly what we were looking for when we welcomed him to the team earlier this year.

“I have found Stirling Dynamics to be welcoming, progressive and encouraging, a place where technical excellence is matched by a genuine culture of collaboration.”

Over the past three months, Chris has been getting to grips with our simulation and control projects, meeting customers, and working closely with our engineers to understand where he can add the most value.

The early days in any new role are as much about people as they are about process. Chris has spent time listening to the team, understanding the nuances of our projects, and identifying opportunities to strengthen our technical delivery. He’s already made a positive impact, and we’re excited about the direction he’s helping to shape.

Looking ahead, Chris is focused on our graduate training program, mentoring the next generation of engineers, advancing our capabilities in our Marine business and helping us stay at the forefront of simulation and control technologies.

We’re proud to have him on board.
